A Lot Got Done

So I took the weekend off from blogging, but that was because it was nothing but running around. Although the good type of running around, the type that actually gets things done. First we dropped doggies off at the stylist then went on a rush of errands. We went to the flooring store and have picked out new flooring for the basement. We then headed out to some outlet stores. Monsieur Purl had a coupon and I had a poke around too. While I didn’t find much at the Polo store where the coupon was at, I did find quite a bunch I liked at Eddie Bauer. I haven’t shopped in over a year (no I’m not kidding), it’s a joke around here, but I normally refresh my wardrobe on an annual basis. I don’t know why I have an aversion to shopping, but it’s something about the having to try things on. It’s such a pain.

I find it funny how over the years your style and colors change. I picked out a lot more earth tones this year and hence needed a new pair of brown shoes. This then led to a trip to DSW, where let me mention a bunch of stuff is 80% off and I got a couple new pairs to go with my new duds. Yeah!!! In the interim I didn’t do any spinning, but I did do knitting. It really helps when you don’t have to do the driving.

This is the left front and now I’m onto the right front – trying best I can to make the fronts match. Jack was helping.

  • For most of my adult years I always picked very neutral colors. Just in the past couple of years I’ve been adding color to my wordrobe, it’s been fun.
