So I dragged myself home today from work. I got in a little later, so I stayed a little later to get my time in. Basically I would’ve been on time if I could’ve gotten myself out of bed. Working a whole day on Thursday really whipped my behind. I’m not used to that anymore and being in such a pressure cooker – probably not good for me anyway. I’m thinking as worn out as I am, it’s probably best I do only work part-time.
Anyway there was a treat in the mail today. When I got my books from Japan I saw these interesting hooks on the back, well after some research I found an Etsy seller that had them and 20% off, with free shipping. Well, since that was the case, I ordered the whole set and the case.
I can’t wait to start crocheting with them. I was thinking of trying one of these bookmarks. Isn’t this just the cutest? No guarantees on how they will turn out.
I seem to be adding some tools lately. Over the Thanksgiving holiday Knit Picks had a sale on the metal Options Interchangeable needle set. It’s normally $59 and was on sale for $50. I think it was only advertised in an email. So, I ended up ordering that too.
I love the pointy tips, but the jury is still out on the set. The thing is the pointy tips to the eye don’t seem that much in comparison to the Addi’s, but when I knit with them, I can feel the difference in that point and can do decreases and increases way faster with less stress on my wrist, which is really important to me.
