All About Bundt

First off, I made it to Ravelry. Yeah!!! I can see how this can get totally addictive. You can find me at madamepurl.

Anyway, onto the bundt. I used this recipe and made it totally from scratch. It was dense, but light. I know that sounds strange, but the flavor was light and not too sweet. It really turned out perfect.

I made it over to the LYS where I joined the red bag club and served the bundt. We had 5 knitters for group and it was a lot of fun. So here’s the scoop on the red bag club. This is neat… if you buy and use the store bag, bring it in to the store and get a 10% discount anytime. During a S’nB meeting – get 15% off your purchases. Have a full green card – it’s 20% off. Pretty good and it’s a handy bag, so I figured why not? Plus these folks who own this store are super nice and I would really like to see them succeed.

I was knitting on the pumpkin hat, which was such a quick knit – I finished it. Totally fun, eh?

Other than that I have to put the computer down now and do more knitting before the weekend is totally over. (lol)

  • What a gorgeous cake, yum! The hat is adorable as ever. Before I knew how to knit I spent far too many dollars on a hat like that for Daniel. I think it’s still kickin’ around the house somewhere.
