An Easier Week Ahead…

We’re hoping this week will be easier.

Coco in Cone

Poor Coco licked and chewed on her stitches.  It’s itchy and it’s understandable she want’s to scratch, but that’s not allowed.  We’re putting some Neosporin on it to help with the itching.  Another week before the stitches come out.  I’m not sure if it’s the high doses of painkillers, but she seems a bit melancholy.   She’s getting lots of attention from the Hubs and me.  She’s propped up on his lap getting pets, right this minute.  The leg though seems to be healing and a bit faster than the next one.  While I’m glad for a slower week, I can’t wait to head back to Madison, so they can tell us how we’re doing and get those stitches out.

  • She does look like she has her sad face on. Hope she’s feeling better soon! I’m sure getting stitches out and rid of the cone will help.
