Beverly’s Bag

Beverly Bag My friend Beverly had a birthday, so I made her this gorgeous bag bag.  This was some stash fabric that I’ve had for a long time and it’s just perfect for a bag.  I have just a little left – about a yard and a half, so another bag may be in order.  It is fully lined with pockets too.

Janome 3160

I made this bag entirely with my new 12 pound Janome 3160 QDC.   I love my Horizon, but found it too heavy and unwieldy to carry around so a travel machine was in order.  She sews just wonderfully.  Even her free motion quilting is divine and now that many of the knitters all seem to be turning into sewers and quilters, we’ve started to have sew-days.  Plus there always seems to be a class I’d like to try and if I can find a pattern drafting one in a reasonable distance, for a reasonable cost – I’m so there.  Although I’m investigating some online offerings.
