Finally Arrived

So like many I’ve been ogling over the Addi Lace needles. I decided to order one pair awhile ago to see if I can finally get the Peacock shawl done. It’s been become my longest UFO. Now I don’t count the ones that will never get a second sock or glove made because I’ve disliked part of the project. The Peacock Shawl is a serious UFO that I still want to complete. You know it just sits there mocking me in my fiber area.

Anyway, I could see them putting out a sharper version of the regulars. Now that I’ve gotten used to the sharper needles I can see a need. A need for the old ones too – to avoid splitting yarns of course, but still a need for the new ones. I can see picking up a 1 and 2 in my future for the magic loop socks. Eva of course pointed out that she could get them for less than half of what we get them for here (thanks for the trade offer), but gotta watch my P’s and Q’s for right now anyway, at least that is what my Mother would say.

  • ” or glove made because ”

Does that mean you’re not going to finish it 🙁

Side note, did you ever get any meals from that place that prepares them? If so, how was it?

  • I got a pair of those too, but I haven’t had a chance to use them yet. They seem a bit less slick than the regular addis as well.

Can’t wait to hear how you like them, I have resisted picking any up 🙂
