Funky

That’s how I like to describe the patterns that come with the Socks that Rock yarn. I’m not saying hard, or bad, just funky – enough to keep you on your toes. After much wrangling and checking over the numbers and having email conversation with Pat  concerning the pattern, I decided to dive in. First I casted on the small – then thought hmmm… with the cables it might be small. So then I casted on the medium and went hmmm… way too big. So I settled back on the small and dug in. I’m going top down – although after browsing the blog I noticed many were going toe up.

I’m don’t think flashing, striping or pooling is going on… I’m not sure what is going on. I also think I was on the last mail run so it’s now ok to post the picture.

  • yeah the patterns are different aren’t they? i think there were two patterns in the last round that i might knit one day and so far in this round i’ve not found one. maybe next time!

  • I think I’ve settled on a path…I finished the legs today and will get a picture up in the morning. (they fit so far)

  • This is the best yet. Those colors are to die for. Both Claire and I had a great time today. Hope we can do it again soon.
