Macro Class

So I’ve been running around taking photo classes and this one did not disappoint.  Not only did I get to play with the two Nikon Macro Lenses – the 60mm and 105mm, but also I got to play with 85mm 1.4 lens (portraits) that I am so coveting now.  Of course it’s worse now that I’ve played with it.  It was like – here hold this puppy and of course now I want to take it home with me.

Let me just show you a few of the pictures.  This is Flash – the store bird.

If you would like to see the rest they are on flickr here.  Not bad for my first time just playing with them.  I could get used to these.

Edited to add:  Julie ask a good question.  There is no post processing on these photos this is how they came out of the camera.  I just picked my favorites and posted them to flickr.

  • Nice, so how much post processing is on these photos? Is the depth of field that shallow or am I seeing some tilt or whatever it’s called?

  • Holy cow! Not bad at all, now I know why you need to take pictures for me 10/10/10. I can’t believe they still have Flash. You might just have to go full time with this hobby.
