One Pot of Gold, Please.

Looking out at the pink sky tonight, Monsieur Purl noticed this – a delightful rainbow.

Of course the first thing that pops in my mind is “just where is that pot of gold?”  I may never find it, but know this rainbow isn’t to be outdone by this rainbow butterfly.

Now about 3/4 of the way through the front and still some good knitting time tonight.

RoseHoffaQuilts

I’m a professional quilter and maker of pretty things.

  • I’ve seen several rainbows over the past couple of weeks, but have yet to find the pot of gold 🙂

Butterfly is coming along nicely! I love how the chevron pattern works with the stripes. And they match up! You’re good. I never bother with Noro, because the knots mid-skein always throw it off.

  • Greetings. love the rainbows especially the knitted one. My faces class was cancled so noe I’m taking two afternoon classes on Friday and Saturday. Would you like to meet Saturday for spinning and dinner? Do you know anyone else who would like to meet for dinner and spinning. We have two weeks to arrange a meet up. i’ll post it on my next blog entry this weekend. Let me know what you think?

  • I always think of the Navy saying…red sky at night, sailors delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning. LOL I love a good rainbow, I never think about the pot of gold…I just am so impressed by the colors. I sometimes get distracted by the prism effect of my ring. In the blazing sun, there will be hundreds of little rainbows everywhere! 😀
