Portuguese Knitting

I was cruising through blogs this morning with my morning cup of latte when I came across one saying she had a sore wrist from all the knitting she had been doing lately.  Well… mine is feeling better, but I’ve been in that boat before and was putting in my two cents in the comments when I noticed another comment.  This one was talking about Portuguese Knitting.  Wow!  I did a little You Tube watching and stumbled across Andrea Wong’s site.  Well, I knew I had to have it her video and the pin.  I should have both by early next week.  I can’t wait to give it a go.

If you are having aches and pains, I have to give props to Topricin, which both DH and I have been using with success.

  • I had seen the site about a year ago… it is very close to how I knit 🙂 Although I don’t use my thumb to move the yarn around the needles. On the yootoobe site I noticed that you have to do a lot of things for the knit stitch, wrap the yarn around the needle, get the needle in the stitch, wrap the yarn the other way, make your stitch…
Maybe I should try and get a vid up on my ‘polish’ way of knitting hehehe. Since I knit that way I have no more aches in my neck/shoulders/arms/wrists either.

    Cheers Eva
