Spinning the Sunrise

So, as it’s 90+ degrees out, I’ve gotten out my wheel and did a few calculations. To get three ounces of this delightful color blending I’m doing – this is how much I have left.

And how it looks on the bobbin.

I did manage to roll some of this off to another bobbin, so they will be equal. After I wound it off, I did a rewind to get it back to the right direction and then picked up again where I left off.

  • I can’t wait to see what that looks like plied. As soon as it’s light enough for pictures I’ll post about the superwash I started on yesterday- it’s that blue/orange/yellow we did together.
