Trip and Farm Fest

The husband and I took a little anniversary trip over the 4th to Door Country, WI and Washington Island, WI.  We had a great time.  We had a great view of the fire works right from our balcony.  We also golfed, rode our bikes and did a little shopping. It was nice just to unplug and spend some time together.  I wouldn’t mind this as an annual event.

I have to say my favorite part of the trip was Washington Island.  We went to Sievers school of fiber arts.  I just shopped in the shop, but I loved the island and could definitely see myself going there for some r&r and working on a project.

Once I got back I rolled right into Farm Fest.  We had a great time this year and I made a lot of progress.  I got 9 blocks done out of 20.  I love this fabric and can’t wait to get this quilt done.  The pattern is Box of Stars by A Quilter’s Dream.
